Ashley Altick

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Ashley Altick is a 1998 graduate of Duke University.  She has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Public Policy from Duke, and earned her law degree from Southern Methodist University.

Prior to law school, Ashley worked as a financial analyst for a leading technology company. Ashley is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts as well as the Northern, Southern and Eastern districts of Texas.

Ashley’s litigation experience spans many industries, including insurance, hospitality, and construction as well as chemical and banking.  She has represented the interests of companies that have only two employees to those that have thousands across the globe.  Ashley analyzes each case thoroughly and formulates solutions that are specific to that client’s exact needs and wishes, which may include avoiding litigation altogether.  She is skilled in pre-suit negotiation and strategy as well as creating strategy for a case beginning to end.  Ashley’s finance background allows her to counsel clients on financial matters related to litigation as they grapple with difficult business decisions, especially in these tough economic times.

Understanding the importance of giving back to her community, Ashley volunteers with CONTACT Crisis Line on the phone lines, supports the Junior League of Dallas, and commits many volunteer hours to Wesley Prep, a Dallas private school.  Ashley also supports other local organizations including Attitudes & Attire, the Children’s Cancer Fund, and Habitat for Humanity.

An avid Duke fan, Ashley is also involved with the Duke Club of North Texas and, of course, is a loud supporter of the Blue Devils during basketball season.
