Daylen Gallman

Daylen is a native Texan born and raised in the small farming community of Friona, Texas. He is a 1993 graduate of Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Daylen holds a Bachelor’s and a Master of Education degree from Hardin-Simmons. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Daylen is admitted in all State courts in Texas and is admitted to practice in the Northern, Western and Eastern District of Texas and practices pro hac vice in Oklahoma.Daylen has been named a Rising Star SuperLawyer for the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. This honor indicates that he is among the top 2.5% of attorneys practicing in Texas that are under the age of 40.
Daylen is an aggressive commercial litigator with significant experience in the areas of non standard insurance defense, employment matters, protection of confidential and trade secret information, oil and gas disputes, contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, non compete enforcement and defense, and business torts of all flavors.
Daylen arguably has more trial experience, motion practice, and oral argument before both state and federal Judges than most of his contemporaries. Daylen has developed a style of managing cases and using aggressive discovery through depositions that has caused many opposing parties to lose confidence in their case. Daylen also has a strong and steadily growing appellate practice. Daylen’s published opinions include: Anderson v. Cocheu, 176 S.W.3d 685 (Tex. App.—Dallas, 2005 pet. denied); Lewis v. Foxworth, 170 S.W.3d 900 (Tex. App.—Dallas 2005, no pet.); Phoenix Network Techs. (Europe) Ltd. v. Neon Sys., 177 S.W.3d 605 (Tex. App.—Houston [14th Dist.] 2005, no pet.).
